The track itself is an excellent galloping left handed track and known as The Cheltenham of the "South" - primarily due to the excellent record of its graduates on the big stage.

Incidentally, DENMAN was trained locally by another Cheltenham Gold Cup hero Adrian Maguire who was successful on Cool Ground. Next Sensation - 5 -Y-O winner in 2012 also paid a visit to the winners’ enclosure in Cheltenham 2015 when gaining success for the Scudamore team.
Bush fences are well presented and all parts of the Course are in view with the finish line in front of the crowd.
UK buyers and agents are frequent visitors in search of future stars. 2015 graduates are already shining, STOWAWAY MAGIC - 4-Y-O winner was successful on his Racecourse debut when an impressive 5 length winner in a Kempton bumper and now in the care of of N Henderson at his Lambourne yard. ARTICULIM - 5-Y-O winner is a dual bumper winner for trainer Terence O' Brien, HITTHEHIGHWAY is also a 2 time winner in the UK and KILLABRAHER CROSS has joined the band of winners in the UK.
